Corona virus Precautionary Measures are exemplary: Telengana team

TWELVE member official (government) delegation from Telengana visited Kerala on March 7, it has opined that Kerala government’s intervention to control the threat of novel corona virus is exemplary and a model for all. They were talking to the media after their consultation with K K Shailaja, minister for health.  Kerala has been successful in preventing the spread of the deadly virus.Telengana has also been taking exemplary precaution. All states are following the guidelines of World Health Organization. But the measures taken by Kerala can be considered as model to follow.

Haryana: Kisan state conference Resolves to unleash Movement

THE 13th state conference of the AIKS Haryana state was held on March 7-8 at Jind. On March 7th a public meeting was held which was attended by a large number of kisans. Because of hail and heavy downpour the venue of the rally had to be changed. The space of the public meeting fell short and a large number of people had to stand in outside the venue. The public meeting was addressed by Ashok Dhawale, Amra Ram, Inderjit, Phul Singh and Harpal Singh.Ashok Dhawale spoke in length about the present condition of the kisans in the country.

ON March 1, 2020 a national convention of the writers and cultural activists was held at Jantan Mantar, New Delhi against the CAA, NPR and NRC. ON March 1, district conference of CITU Jammu was held today in the auditorium of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, Jammu under the chairmanship of SP Kesar, senior leader of CITU.Delegate from various unions like ASHA worker, construction worker, LIC, NHPC, railway, BRO, rehri-phari, and industry etc., participated in the conference.Om Parkash, general secretary, CITU cautioned the working class to be united and vigilant to counter the nefarious designs of union government, which is hell-bent to curb the democratic rights of the trade unions.

A Report on the Delhi Solidarity Relief & Rehabilitation Committee

THE communal violence has led to tragic loss of lives, extensive destruction of livelihoods, homes and property. The areas where the violence took place have a large population comprising unorganised workers, working class and lower middle class households of both communities. Thousands have become victims of the violence in different ways and suffering and distress are widespread. Urgent steps are required to provide relief, rehabilitation and legal aid for the distressed people. The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) has given a call for relief fund collection to all its state units.

WEST BENGAL: Shah Faces Strong Protest in Kolkata

UNION home minister, Amit Shah faced strong protest in his visit to Kolkata on  March 1. Thousands of protestors came out in the street to shout him “Go back Amit Shah”, holding him responsible for planned violence in Delhi. As Shah landed in airport, protests began then and there. Hundreds rallied outside the gates of airport with black flags, black balloons and poster. CPI(M) and Left mass organisations took the lead in the demonstration. All the way to city, Shah had to witness protests in street corners.
