CPI(M) in the All Party Meeting

ON behalf of the CPI(M), John Brittas, leader of the Party in the Rajya Sabha attended the All Party Meeting convened by the Government of India on 8 May 2025, in the wake of ‘Operation Sindoor’.John Brittas regretted the absence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the second consecutive time in such an important All Party Meeting.

Note on the Use of the Term ‘Neo-Fascism’

As decided by the Central Committee in its meeting held on January 17-19, 2025, the Polit Bureau has issued a Note on the use of the term `Neo-Fascism’ to be reported along with the Draft Political Resolution. Since some incorrect interpretations of the note have appeared in the media, the text of the note is being published below.

CPI(M) 24th Party Congress Logo Released in Madurai

ON January 16, the inauguration ceremony of the reception committee office for the CPI(M)’s 24th Party Congress was held with revolutionary fervour at Madurai’s Theekkathir Hall.The meeting was chaired by the Tamil Nadu state secretary of the Party, P Shanmugam. Su. Venkatesan, MP, and secretary of the reception committee, delivered the welcome address.

Public Homage to Sitaram Yechury

On September 14, the body of Comrade Sitaram Yechury will be kept at the Communist Party of India (Marxist) headquarters, A K Gopalan Bhavan, Gole Market, New Delhi for public viewing and paying homage between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm. Subsequently the body of Comrade Sitaram Yechury will be taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where it will be donated for medical research as per his wishes.
